Christopher Meier has a diverse work experience in data science and analytics. Christopher started their career as a Financial Analyst at CSC - Computer Sciences Corporation in 2007, where they updated databases and generated reports for clients. Christopher then worked as an Accountant at Dawson, Smith, Purvis, Bassett, P.A., where they performed tax planning and prepared tax returns for clients.

In 2010, Christopher joined the University of Southern Maine as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Business and Economic Research. Christopher conducted mathematical and statistical analysis for business clients and worked on projects involving time-series analysis and forecasting.

After their time at the University, Christopher joined the State of Maine, Office of Information Technology as a Statistician Intern in 2013. Christopher then transitioned to WEX, where they held multiple roles, including Business Intelligence Analyst Intern, Analyst II - Portfolio Risk Analytics, and Data Scientist - Analytics. At WEX, they developed software programs and algorithms to evaluate large datasets and identify insights. Christopher also forecasted credit loss and researched tools to improve portfolio behavior understanding.

From 2014 to 2016, Christopher worked as a Statistics Instructor at the University of Southern Maine, teaching statistical concepts and methodologies.

In 2016, they joined The Weather Company, an IBM Business, as a Data Scientist. Christopher designed analytical products for global aviation companies and developed predictive models.

In 2018, Christopher joined XL Fleet Electrification as a Data Scientist, where they explored large data sets to suggest solutions related to automotive fuel economy. Christopher collaborated with a software development team and developed effective data visualization strategies.

Most recently, Christopher worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Kraft Analytics Group. Here, they researched and designed scalable models based on machine learning and statistical modeling. Christopher provided meaningful insights and recommendations to stakeholders and created custom solutions as needed.

From 2010 to 2013, Christopher studied at the University of Southern Maine - School of Mathematics and Statistics, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Statistics.

During the same period, from 2008 to 2013, they also attended the University of Southern Maine - School of Business and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations.

In 2015, Christopher enrolled at Colorado State University to pursue further studies in Statistics.

In 2014, they also attended Penn State University, focusing on Statistics.

Christopher's undergraduate education took place from 2002 to 2007 at the University of Southern Maine - School of Business, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
