Eric Gao

Eric Gao has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Eric is currently the Founder/CTO/Music Producer at Secret Garden, where they oversee the technical aspects of the company while also producing music. Additionally, they hold the position of Founder/Technical Consultant at both Lives of Asuna and Capsule House, providing expertise in technical matters for these organizations.

Prior to their current roles, Eric founded Banner Technologies in 2020 and served as its Founder until 2022. At Banner Technologies, they launched and managed the company.

Before founding their own companies, Eric worked at BitFight as a Founder from 2019 to 2020. Eric was responsible for initiating and leading the development of the company.

Eric also has experience working at renowned tech companies. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer at Facebook, contributing to the development of software applications. Prior to that, they worked as a Contractor at Gigster from 2015 to 2017, taking on various software development projects.

During their education, Eric gained valuable experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Nextdoor in 2016. Here, they worked on different projects related to consumer and business-facing monetization, contributing to the improvement of the iOS and Django web codebases.

In 2015, Eric also interned at Facebook as a Software Engineering Intern. Eric focused on implementing a new feature called Sticker Posts for the iOS Facebook app.

Prior to their internships, Eric worked as a Software Engineer at Lockitron from 2014 to 2015. Here, they implemented innovative features such as Sense and Tap to Unlock for the iOS Lockitron application, improving its functionality and user experience.
