Ryan M. Confer

Ryan M. Confer is the President and CEO of Genprex, Inc., a clinical-stage gene therapy company focused on innovative treatments for cancer and diabetes. They co-founded Gurnade, Inc., a creative design agency, and serve as Principal at Confer Capital, Inc., providing advisory services in technology commercialization. Ryan previously held leadership roles at KaiNexus, Innovate Texas Foundation, and Texas Economic Development Bank, along with being a Senior Investment Manager at Texas Emerging Technology Fund. They earned a BSBA from Bloomsburg University and are pursuing a Master of Science in Technology Commercialization from The University of Texas at Austin.
