Michael Seas is an experienced engineer with a background in materials and chemical engineering. Currently serving as an Engagement Manager at Kainos, Michael previously held roles such as Senior Quality Engineer at Leonardo DRS and Materials Engineer at Raytheon Technologies. At Raytheon Technologies, responsibilities included project engineering and program management support, as well as contributions to growth engineering of HgCdTe thin films. Michael's academic experience includes a Master of Science in Materials from UC Santa Barbara and two Master of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wyoming. Research initiatives at UCSB involved selective area growth of III-V nanowire structures and epitaxial tri-layer Josephson junctions for quantum computing applications.
