Tom Crooks Smith is a senior user researcher with extensive experience in government digital transformation, specializing in user research since 2017. Currently, they are a Senior User Researcher at Kainos, where they focus on research strategy and best practices. Previously, Tom has worked in various roles across different sectors, including government and education, both in the UK and internationally, particularly in China. They hold a 2:1 honours degree in Chinese and Politics from the University of Leeds, graduated in 2015.
