Patrick Steele

Patrick Steele has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Patrick is currently working as an Operations Infrastructure Engineer at Kairos Aerospace since July 2022. Prior to this, Patrick worked as a Contractor and Retainer for Absolute Software Inc. in San Jose, CA since April 2021. Patrick returned to their IT career after being disabled for almost a decade and focused on updating their certifications and skills during this time.

Previously, Patrick worked as an IT Administrator at Notre Dame High School in San Jose from October 2012 to January 2013. Patrick also served as a Senior Systems Engineer/Supervisor at USWired from August 2011 to June 2012, where they provided strategic IT consulting and managed IT support for challenging clients. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Windows/Exchange Administrator at Fujitsu US, Inc. via ComSys from February 2011 to July 2011. In this role, they planned and executed migration projects and managed server configurations.

Before joining Fujitsu, Patrick worked as a Sr. Exchange/Windows Administrator at Data Robotics from September 2010 to February 2011, streamlining IT operations and managing help desk tasks. Patrick also served as a Systems Engineer at ZAG Technical Services from February 2010 to August 2010, where they supported customers with network performance and connectivity issues and led Exchange migration projects.

Patrick's previous experience includes working as a Sr. Windows/Exchange Engineer at Taos from October 2009 to February 2010, a Senior Systems Administrator at Netflix from January 2008 to June 2009, and a Senior Systems Administrator at Alvarez Technology Group from June 2004 to February 2008. In these roles, they provided IT support to customers in various areas such as networking, security, messaging, and server administration.

Patrick Steele's education history begins with their high school education at Alisal High School, which took place from 1978 to 1982. Patrick did not obtain a degree or pursue a specific field of study during this time.

Following their high school education, Patrick attended Itawamba Junior College from 1982 to 1984. Patrick obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician during this period.

In recent years, Patrick attended the Nucamp Coding Bootcamp from 2021 to 2022, where they focused on Back-end/SQL/DevOps for Python. Although no degree was provided, this program imparted specialized knowledge and skills in programming and software development.

Additionally, Patrick obtained several certifications to further enhance their professional qualifications. In July 2021, they became an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, demonstrating their proficiency in cloud computing services offered by Amazon Web Services. In May 2022, Patrick acquired an Exam Prep certification for Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) from LinkedIn and became Microsoft Certified with Azure Fundamentals. Moreover, in July 2022, they completed the Preventing Discrimination & Harassment: CA Employees V4.01 2022 training from Traliant, which focused on promoting a respectful and inclusive work environment.
