We provide supported temporary accommodation for asylum seekers and refugees in Blackburn with Darwen, providing the foundations for stability, hope and rebuilding lives.

We house asylum seekers with No Recourse to Public Funds whose claims have been refused but who are working towards a fresh asylum application. We provide free, safe accommodation, a small weekly support payment and essential living supplies. Our team helps guests access legal support, healthcare and community services while ensuring they stay on track with their asylum case—their route out of destitution.

We support newly recognised refugees who are homeless during the move-on period. We help our guests understand their rights, access benefits and secure long-term housing, setting them up not just to navigate life in the UK but to thrive.

We believe that no one should face homelessness or destitution due to their immigration status.

Asylum seekers pursuing a fresh application, without access to mainstream support, are at risk of severe hardship. For refugees, adjusting to life in the UK can be overwhelming, especially when facing language barriers, mental health challenges, or limited support networks.
People seeking sanctuary deserve fair access to justice and a safe place to live.

People refused asylum in the UK, often unjustly, face extreme hardship, including homelessness, destitution and declining mental and physical health.

People seeking sanctuary deserve fair access to justice, yet many are left without support. Without a safe place to live, they cannot rebuild their lives, pursue legal cases or access the services they need.

Kairos Housing provides safety, stability and belonging, giving people the support they need to move forward and build a future.
