Kairos is a holistic development organization whose mission is to invest in the soul, mind, and skills of young adults. We believe our 3-fold model of mental health support via mentorship (soul), business education (mind), and vocational training (skills) not only empowers young adults but also builds their capacity to form emotionally healthy and resilient communities and break the cycle of poverty in their lives. The organization was founded as a 501(c)(3) in the United States in 2018 and launched its inaugural office in Kampala, Uganda in 2020 which marked the program’s official start.
