Dan Modlin

Dan Modlin, FACHE, serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Kaiser Permanente’s Oakland Market, overseeing a $2.4 billion integrated delivery system that includes a 300-bed tertiary hospital and multiple outpatient clinics. In this role, Modlin leads operations across various services, ensuring alignment with Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and The Permanente Medical Group. Previously, Modlin held positions including Peri-Operative Services Administrator and Chief of Staff to the NCAL Regional President within Kaiser Permanente. Modlin is pursuing a Master of Healthcare Administration at the University of California, San Francisco, and holds a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point, along with an MBA in Healthcare Management from The Johns Hopkins University.
