Mark Clapper

Mark Clapper, MD, is a board-certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and consultant with extensive leadership experience across various healthcare settings. They served as the Assistant Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery in the US Navy, where they directed a residency program and led large trauma and sports teams during their deployment in the Gulf War. Currently, Mark provides consultations for patients at Included Health and has previously held roles such as Medical Director at Cigna and Chief of Orthopaedics at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego, where they improved departmental quality measures significantly. Mark completed a fellowship at the Stanford Distinguished Careers Institute, focusing on Health Care Policy and Biodesign Innovation.
