Mark Barry

Mark Barry has over 14 years of experience in software engineering and front-end development. Mark is currently working as a Senior Engineer at Kajabi since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Frontend Software Engineer at QOS Networks from August 2020 to June 2021.

From 2019 to 2020, Mark was a Senior Software Engineer at AutoGravity where they developed customer-facing sites and internal tools using React, Gatsby, GraphQL, TypeScript, and Material-UI. Mark also contributed to UI/UX design for the internal admin portal.

Before that, Mark worked at iHerb Inc. from 2015 to 2019. Mark held various roles including Senior Front End Developer and Front End Developer, contributing to front-end development using JavaScript, jQuery, React, Redux, TypeScript, and bootstrap in a .NET environment. Mark also implemented a front-end build system using gulp and node.

Prior to iHerb Inc., Mark worked at Rhythm Agency as a Senior Web Application Developer, where they contributed to front-end and full-stack development using HTML5, Jade, CSS3/SASS, jQuery, Angular.js, and Bootstrap.

Mark also has experience working at BuyEfficient as a .NET Developer, Precept as a Benefit Automation Developer, CTGroup as a Senior Programmer, GLOBALINX as a Web Developer, and Yardi Systems as a Web Application Specialist.

Throughout their career, Mark has gained expertise in various programming languages, frameworks, and tools, including .NET, JavaScript, React, Angular.js, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and more.

Mark Barry completed their Bachelor of Arts in Music from UC Santa Barbara before the year 2000. After that, they pursued their interest in Computer Science and attended Santa Barbara City College from 2007 to 2008. In terms of certifications, Mark obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2020.
