KAKE
Cameron Venable is an accomplished meteorologist with extensive experience in broadcast meteorology and weather forecasting. Currently serving as a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist at the American Meteorological Society since January 2023, Cameron also holds a position as a meteorologist at KAKE, starting in April 2021. Prior roles include meteorologist at KFDA - NewsChannel 10 from March 2016 to April 2021 and various positions that include website ownership and lead forecasting for personal weather sites, such as Cam's Weather Cast and Meso-Weather-Cast. Cameron's background in meteorology is supported by a Bachelor of Science degree from San Jose State University, completed in 2015. Additional experience includes volunteering at the National Weather Service and work within the retail sector.
