Kaleidoscope is a grassroots NGO dedicated to supporting displaced young people aged 12–18 living in Dunkirk and Calais. We provide psychosocial support, educational activities, and skills-based workshops to help young people navigate the challenges of displacement and develop a sense of identity, resilience, and self-expression.

Our work focuses on detached youth engagement, workshops, and outreach initiatives designed to empower young people to grow both personally and practically. Through creative and technical activities, we aim to nurture confidence, teamwork, and practical life skills, while also offering a safe space for emotional wellbeing.

At Kaleidoscope, we believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to explore their potential, express themselves freely, and develop skills that will help them in education, employment, and personal growth. Our programmes are tailored to meet the needs of vulnerable and marginalised youth, with particular attention to the challenges faced by unaccompanied minors and those living in temporary or informal settlements.

We work closely with an international team of volunteers and partners to deliver programmes that are engaging, culturally sensitive, and impactful. In addition to direct support, we contribute to community awareness and fundraising initiatives, helping to mobilise resources and support for young people at the border.

Through our work, Kaleidoscope strives to foster a sense of belonging, hope, and opportunity, giving young people the tools, guidance, and confidence to navigate their present circumstances and shape their future.
