Kalenborn acts sustainably across the entire value chain. The company uses environmentally friendly energies in the manufacture of its products and, with basalt and ceramics, relies on natural materials that can be regenerated. It recycles its materials and uses special processes for lining so that customers can reuse their plant components. This saves resources in steel construction and reduces CO2 emissions to protect the environment.

Nowadays, it counts as an SME (small and medium-sized enterprises)  employing around 600 people. 10 subsidiaries and more than 20 dealerships on 5 continents make it possible to reach customers quickly from their own locality, to provide advice and consultation on their industrial facilities wherever they are in the world.
