Daniel Santamaria is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in automation systems and software development. Currently serving as Development Manager at Kalmar since April 2013, Daniel leads a team of developers focused on enhancing RTCS for container terminal automation. Prior roles include Chief Engineer for AutoStrad container terminal automation, where responsibilities encompassed software requirements, design, architecture, and mentoring, as well as positions at Rio Tinto as Senior Advisor for mine automation systems, and at Patrick Terminals as Senior Software Engineer developing real-time automation solutions. Academic contributions include lecturing at the University of Technology Sydney and tutoring at the University of Sydney.
