Max Backman is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and business controlling across various sectors. Currently serving as Finance Director for the Kalmar Market Area Central Europe since September 2018, Max leads an international finance team and acts as a business partner for the region. Prior roles include Director of Finance at Cargotec and several key positions at Stora Enso, where responsibilities ranged from segment business controlling to VP Group Reporting. Max began a career at Ernst & Young in Transaction Advisory Services and also worked as a Financial Analyst and Auditor at Stora Enso and KPMG, respectively. Max holds a Master of Economics degree from Åbo Akademi University.
