David Stoup

David Stoup is a Principal Engineer at Kitware Inc., specializing in software development for the Computer Vision group since August 2009, after previously serving as an R&D Engineer in the same group. Prior to Kitware, David worked as a Consultant for BearingPoint, Inc., from February 2004 to February 2010, where responsibilities included designing a large-scale web application for the State Department of Education funding. David’s earlier experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at DataViz, Inc. from August 2001 to February 2004, focusing on the design and development of applications across multiple platforms and managing projects involving image processing. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earned between 1999 and 2001.
