Kalpataru Foundation
Promoting Reality the Beautiful

Kalpataru Foundation is a non-government organization registered internationally for promoting long standing and far reaching activities in different fields of cultural life.

Kalpataru is a mythical heavenly tree fulfilling all possible desires of those who enjoy the shelter of the tree. Naturally the tree is a symbol of life, signifying an axis between the roots and the crown, the present stage and a higher reality. A tree represents continuity as well, connecting the present with the past and the future, the nucleus and the blossom, the seed and the fruits.

Thus the main objective of the foundation is to promote Arts, Beauty and Cognizance as aesthetics in daily life is a reflection of the underlying universal harmony. Aesthetics in practice reflects and serves the higher synthesis of wisdom and spirit that we all yearn for, bearing the fruits of inner fulfillment.

The dream of Kalpataru Foundation and its contributors is to create a vibrant reality of an aesthetic future where any artistic activity recalls the Absolute Beauty and Harmony, and the interaction between the artists and the audience positively improves the quality of life of all involved.

The goals of Kalpataru Foundation translate this dream into a practical reality to provide the necessary background, environment and network, ranging from publications and media to collections and research, from events and festivals to creative workshops and education.

„The only thing we leave behind is our legacy, so make it count…”
