Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Kalray

Jérôme Philbert has a diverse work experience in the field of embedded software engineering. Jérôme started their career in 2000 as a Digital Design Engineer at STMicroelectronics. Later, they worked at Purple Labs as an Embedded Software/Driver Engineer, where they developed software for ARM-based mobile phones and Linux-based platforms. In 2009, they joined Myriad Group AG as an Embedded Software Engineer. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at HTTV as an Embedded Linux Software Engineer, focusing on the development and customization of Linux distributions for set-top boxes. Jérôme then moved on to Schneider Electric, where they contributed as an Embedded Linux Software Engineer, working on the setup and development of a Linux platform for energy storage equipment. Jérôme Philbert also worked as a subcontractor at Groupe SII, contributing their expertise to both Schneider Electric and Kalray. In their most recent role, they served as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Kalray, where they focused on the development of low-level embedded software.

Jérôme Philbert attended the University Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) from 1996 to 1997, where they obtained a DUT (Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie) in Génie Electrique et Informatique Industrielle (GEII). Jérôme then enrolled in Grenoble INP - UGA from 1997 to 2000, where they earned a Diplôme d'Ingénieur ENSERG. Later on, in 2014, they participated in a one-week workshop at Conax, focusing on Conax Set-Top Box Security.
