Bob Mayer

Bob Mayer is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the food ingredients and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as a member of the board of directors at Kalsec, Inc. since March 2007, Bob contributes to the company's position as a leading global producer of specialty food ingredients. Previously, Bob held the roles of CEO and Chairman of the Board at Cobalt Technologies, Inc. from 2011 to 2014, guiding the company through its commercialization phase in the cellulosic n-butanol market. Bob's board memberships include positions at Edeniq and Martek Biosciences, along with executive roles at Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation, Genencor International, and Danisco A/S. Bob holds a ScD in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS in chemical engineering from Columbia Engineering.
