Guy Day is the Chief Executive Officer of Kamal, an AI business management platform for recruitment agencies, a role they have held since 2023. Prior to Kamal, they were the Group Managing Director of Potentia & Crew, New Zealand’s largest locally owned technology recruitment agency, and were honoured as the RCSA Recruitment Leader of the Year in 2024, as well as a recipient of Outstanding Agency – Up to 40 Staff at the 2024 RCSA Awards. They spent nearly 12 years in recruitment across global firms and boutique agencies, and embedded modern data practices at Potentia, which dramatically improved transparency and allowed them to pinpoint what drives success in agency recruitment. They earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Canterbury and were admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2011.
