Lainey Franks is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership, education, and innovation across various sectors. Currently the Chief Learning & Innovation Officer at Kami since November 2025, Lainey previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Tools for Schools, where strategic growth efforts led to the user base of Book Creator expanding from 11 million to over 20 million students and teachers, culminating in a successful acquisition by Kami. With a solid foundation in digital learning from Westbourne House School and a strong background in marketing and business development from roles at Lonely Planet, Australian Rugby Union, and L'Oreal, Lainey combines a robust educational background, including an MBA from INSEAD and a degree from Harvard University, to drive impactful educational initiatives globally.
