🚀 kanbanana: Your Agile Software Engineering and Delivery Partner

We are a B2B provider of contract agile software engineering and delivery expertise based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

We work on-site or in a hybrid manner and can travel nationwide for short-term engagements.

🏢 We help SMBs aiming to improve the productivity and predictability of their software development teams.

We can help with agile transformations, engineering and delivery processes, software leadership, training, Scrum or Kanban adoption, building effective teams, and more!

If we can't help, we'll refer you to someone who can.

👩‍💻 Our technical and experienced consultants work directly with your software teams, engineering leadership and business stakeholders to troubleshoot and solve your engineering and delivery challenges.

We can provide hands-on software development support in some languages / frameworks, but we prefer to help you build the skills in-house.

🧰 We are framework and language-agnostic. We help you choose the right tool(s) for your context, ensuring the best fit for your needs.

📈 For clients using Atlassian Jira, we provide bespoke analytics software, helping you continuously forecast delivery dates, manage WIP, and track work item aging. We customise this software to fit your unique requirements.

👨‍💻 Oliver, our founder, brings 20 years of software delivery experience across various sectors in the UK and the USA.

He is an agile development advocate with a robust background in programming, delivery and engineering management.

🍌 What does 'kanbanana' mean?

It's a blend of 'kanban' and 'banana'! Kanban is a visual, pull-based strategy for optimising the flow of value. We use a banana metaphor to symbolise work item age in our software. As items age, they change colour from green to yellow to black, just like bananas.
