David Brazier

David Brazier has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. David started their career as a Senior Consultant at Logica, where they gained extensive experience in object-oriented techniques and worked with clients such as the UK Civil Aviation Authority and IBM. David then joined PA Consulting as a Principal Consultant, leading a team of developers in designing and implementing a General Practice IT solution for NHS Scotland.

Moving forward, David worked as an IT Consultant for NHS Scotland, taking on roles ranging from proof-of-concept projects to technical authority on a major IT program. David also worked as an Owner at Alpha Bravo Charlie Ltd and played a significant role as the Chief Technologist at 360CRM, a successful provider of patient communications to the NHS.

In recent years, David served as an IT Consultant for NHS National Services Scotland, where they conducted investigations into system outages, advised on mobile application strategies, and facilitated workshops for NHS staff. David also worked as the CTO at Silent Sensors Ltd, managing IT aspects for an Internet of Things (IoT) technology startup in the transportation and industrial sectors, delivering solutions to high-profile customers.

Currently, David holds the position of Director of AI Engineering at Kanbina, where they lead the development of AI systems that transform financial processes, increase accuracy, and improve productivity for customers.

David Brazier completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, where they studied from 1983 to 1986. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Foundations of Advanced IT at Imperial College London between 1987 and 1988.
