Bin Chen

Bin Chen is a seasoned quantitative developer with extensive experience in software development and research, currently employed at KANERAI since April 2014. Previous roles include quantitative developer positions at Vegasoul Capital LLC and Bell Trading LLC, as well as a software developer role at Bell Trading LLC. Bin Chen also contributed to academic research as a research assistant at UMass Amherst, developing a process analysis framework utilizing finite-state verification and fault-tree analysis. Early career work involved part-time software development roles at various companies, including contributions to high-performance web applications and multilingual information retrieval systems. Bin Chen holds a Ph.D and an M.S in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, an M.S in Applied Mathematics, and a B.S in Computer Science from Peking University.
