KangaCode is an interactive RPG coding game/platform where K–12 students and first-time coders write real Python from Day 1.

Unlike block-based coding tools, students use actual Python syntax inside a structured game world. They complete missions, control characters with code, and receive real-time feedback as their programs run instantly on screen.

Through story-driven progression, scaffolded challenges, and instant visual feedback, KangaCode helps learners:

• Build strong computational thinking
• Develop real problem-solving skills
• Gain confidence writing authentic Python code
• Stay deeply engaged through purposeful gamified learning

No prior coding experience is required.

Designed for both classrooms and enrichment programs, KangaCode provides educators with a structured, standards-aligned curriculum that is scalable, measurable, and easy to implement.

🌏 Currently used by students in the United States and Taiwan
🎓 Curriculum designed by alumni of Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh
🚀 Supported by the Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship at Carnegie Mellon University
