Chris Walton

Chris Walton has a strong background in software development and server services. Chris has worked as a Software Developer for Kani since 2021, where they focus on website development using React and Angular, as well as back-end services using .Net, SQL, and Azure. Prior to Kani, Chris worked at Apadmi Ltd from 2020 to 2021 as a Server Developer, where they specialized in producing server and identity services for a retail mobile application and developed booking and ordering services for hospitality businesses. Chris also worked at Apadmi Ltd from 2018 to 2019 as a Server Developer, where they created server services for a fashion mobile application and built an IT support portal for an enterprise client. Before transitioning into the tech industry, Chris worked at Halifax from 2006 to 2016 as a Customer Manager and at Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council from 2004 to 2016 as a Youth Worker.

Chris Walton attended the University of Central Lancashire from 2016 to 2020, where they pursued a Bsc (Hons) degree in Software Engineering with a field of study in Computing. In June 2017, they also obtained an award with distinction for Beginners German Language and Culture from the same university. Prior to their university education, Chris obtained a Level 4 Diploma in Retail Banking Conduct of Business (DipRBCB) in June 2016 from ifs University College. In March 2021, they obtained the certification of Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate from Microsoft.
