Ellen Mitchell

Ellen Mitchell has seven years of work experience. In 2022, they began working as a Content Services Specialist for Kanopy. In 2021, they began working as a Taxonomist for Ad-ID LLC. In 2020, they began working as a Temporary Election Clerk for the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk. In 2018, they began working as a Graduate Teaching Associate for the UCLA Department of African American Studies. In 2017, they began working as a Jack Voorzanger Archival Intern for the Museum of Tolerance, where they were responsible for scanning archival materials, entering information into databases, writing descriptions for archival records, and doing historical research. In 2016, they began working as a B-26 Marauder Archivist for The University of Akron. In 2014, they began working as a Temporary Substitute Librarian for the Aaron Garber Library at the Siegal College of Judiac Studies, where they were responsible for overseeing the day to day on-goings of the library, intralibrary loan through OhioLink, check outs and returns, search and retrieval of materials, and opening and closing duties.

Ellen Mitchell completed a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The University of Akron between 2011 and 2015. Ellen then went on to pursue a Master of Library & Information Science - MLIS in Archives/Archival Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles, which they completed in 2020.
