KanORS-EMR is at the forefront of energy system modeling, combining decades of experience with a passion for innovation. At KanORS, we create tools and models that elevate the process of individual and collaborative inquiry into a fluid and enriching experience. We believe that interactions with models should be intuitive, efficient, and elegant - an effortless dialogue where curiosity meets clarity.

As the architects behind some of the most influential TIMES models – SAGE (MARKAL), TIAM, FACETS, IEMM, and KiNESYS - we’ve shaped the very foundations of global energy system analysis. Our tools enable modelers to create powerful, policy-relevant models without programming expertise, while decision-makers can engage with insights effortlessly through intuitive platforms like KiNESYS + Veda Online.

Our mission is to democratize energy modeling, empowering non-programmers to build models and non-modelers to use them. Whether it’s designing national decarbonization pathways, exploring global energy trade, or enabling scenario-based decision-making, our solutions bridge the gap between complexity and usability.

Our collaborations span the globe, working with organizations such as the World Bank, BP, Argonne National Laboratory, KAPSARC, and leading consulting firms like BCG and Deloitte. From preparing global energy outlooks to supporting regional analyses under the Net Zero World Initiative, we are proud to partner on projects that drive meaningful change.

At the heart of everything we do are our core values:
- Nimbleness: Rapidly evolving methodology and tools - challenges are opportunities.
- Inclusivity: Ensuring that tools and insights are accessible to people with diverse skill sets - not just programmers and modelers.
- Continuous Improvement: Pushing the boundaries of what energy system modeling can achieve.

Join us on our mission to create a sustainable, equitable future. Together, we can transform energy systems into engines of opportunity and resilience.
