Andy Slater

Andy Slater has extensive experience in strategic sales and leadership roles across various technology companies. Currently serving in a strategic clients position at Kantata since October 2025, Andy previously held the role of Global Strategic Client Director at EDB, delivering value to companies investing in Postgres. Prior to EDB, Andy was the Head of Sales for Strategic Clients and Emerging Markets at Board, and Commercial Director at FACT360. With a significant tenure at Actifio, including roles such as VP and Managing Director EMEA, Andy played a pivotal role in promoting Copy Data Virtualization. Earlier career highlights include serving as Chief Operating Officer and Sales Director at Tectrade, transforming sales approaches, and a foundational role as a Sergeant in the British Army as an Aircraft Engineer. Andy holds a BTec HND in Aeronautical Engineering with distinction from Princess Marina College.
