Oliver Steiner is currently the Abteilungsleiter at the Amt für Wasser und Abfall des Kantons Bern. They have held various roles in the field of geology and waste management, including serving as Fachbereichsleiter and Sachbearbeiter for the Kanton Bern. Prior to their current position, Oliver worked as a geologist at Kellerhals + Haefeli AG and Rovina & Partner AG Geologisches Büro. They hold a Master of Science in Mineralogy and Petrology from the Universität Bern, as well as an Executive Master of Business Administration with a focus on Public Management from Berner Fachhochschule für Wirtschaft und Verwaltung. Oliver also completed a postgraduate program in urban water management and water protection at ETH Zurich.
