Walter Hess

Walter Hess is currently the Head of Financial Transfer and Management Support at Kanton Bern, where they have been a member of the executive board since 2019. Prior to this role, Walter held several managerial positions, including Director of Customer Care Mobile at Sunrise Communications AG and Head of Customer Service and Quality Manager at Helsana Versicherungen AG. Walter has also gained experience in direct marketing at PostFinance Ltd and billing at SBB Cargo. They earned a Master of Advanced Studies in Customer Relationship Management from ZHAW School of Management and Law, along with a CAS in Digital Administration. Walter's educational background also includes a business degree from KV Zürich Business School.
