Kapitein Maritiem has a very big diversity in vessels; road transportable work- tug- pushboats, patrol- crew- surveyvessels, pushboats up to 1000 hp, multicat/workboats up to 1200 hp suitable for inland as well as coastal projects.   
The company with a total of twenty units is owned and managed by three brothers; L. Kapitein, J.A. Kapitein, P.T. Kapitein and was founded in 1950 by their father A. Kapitein
