Don Thompson

Don Thompson currently serves as a Sr. Staff Accountant at Kaplan Development Group since November 2020, bringing extensive experience in accounting and tax preparation. As the owner of Thompson Tax $ervice since September 1984, Don began providing tax preparation services shortly after high school, evolving from manual methods to utilizing TurboTax and ProSeries. Previous roles include Sr. Accountant at KDV Law and Controller at React Center Inc, where responsibilities encompassed financial management, payroll, and comprehensive reporting to county and state entities. Earlier experience includes a position as Staff Accountant at a staffing company from 2005 to 2014. Educational qualifications were obtained from the State University of New York system between 1984 and 1994.
