Daniel Prasca-Chamorro

Daniel Prasca-Chamorro is currently a Graduate Student in Dr. Gang Bao's Laboratory of Biomolecular Engineering and Nanomedicine at Rice University and an NSF Graduate Research Fellow. Daniel also serves as a Kaplan University Partner Course Mentor, assisting high school students in various online courses related to genome engineering and entrepreneurship. Previously, Daniel completed internships and research roles at prestigious organizations, including Eli Lilly and Company and the National Center for Therapeutics Manufacturing, gaining experience in pharmaceutical sales and biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Daniel has held leadership and mentoring positions, such as the Director of Research Development at POL-E Med LLC and an Aggie STEM MentorCorps Weekly Mentor at Texas A&M University. Currently pursuing a PhD in Bioengineering at Rice University, Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
