Jonathan Lau

Jonathan Lau, CFA, is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in training and research. Currently serving as an Associate Trainer at AMT Training since 2017, Jonathan specializes in financial modeling, valuation, and financial statement analysis. Additionally, as a contract Financial Markets Trainer for Kaplan since 2016, Jonathan teaches CFA Level 1 and Level 2 candidates on topics such as equity and fixed income valuation, economics, and portfolio management. Jonathan's previous roles include Head of Research at Brooks Macdonald from 2007 to 2014, Investment Analyst at IFG Group from 2002 to 2007, and Analyst at Deutsche Bank in corporate finance from 2001 to 2002. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge, earned between 1998 and 2001, and attended Epsom College in Surrey, UK, from 1993 to 1998.
