Sev Meneshian, CFP®, serves as the Lead Financial Planner at Public Retirement Planners since June 2013, where an educational approach is used to advise clients on employee benefits, retirement planning, and estate planning. In addition to financial planning, Sev has been an Adjunct Instructor at Kaplan since January 2013, training professionals to pass the CFP® Board’s national exam and assisting in curriculum development. Previously, as a Retirement Plans Specialist at ICMA-RC from April 2005 to June 2013, Sev managed over 50 group plans, achieving a client retention rate exceeding 98%. Early professional experience includes a role at Nationwide Insurance, where Sev served as the primary contact for public employers and successfully closed new group plans. Sev holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Economics from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
