Shera Kenney currently serves as Manager of UX & Product Research at Kaplan since May 2023, after a brief tenure as a UX Researcher at Kaplan Educational Foundation. Prior experience includes significant roles at ideas42, where Shera held the position of Vice President and Senior Associate focusing on research and design from April 2018 to April 2022. Shera's earlier career featured the role of Assistant Director of Professional Advancement at Prep for Prep, managing a workforce development program for over 200 college students of color, and building partnerships with more than 150 employers. Additional experience includes teaching English at Heart for Change/Colombian Ministry of National Education and various positions at Prep for Prep and Kaplan Educational Foundation. Shera Kenney holds a B.A. in Psychology and Communications from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.A. in Sociology of Education and Education Policy from NYU Steinhardt, and has pursued undergraduate studies abroad at The University of Queensland.
