Adolfo Rodriguez

Adolfo Rodriguez is a Senior Numerical Developer at KAPPA Engineering since May 2023, focusing on the development, testing, and maintenance of software for reservoir and well modeling, data processing, and optimization. Adolfo co-founded OpenSim Technology, LLC, and previously served as a Staff Reservoir Engineer at ConocoPhillips, contributing to reservoir simulation development. Adolfo's experience includes serving as a Research Fellow at the University of Texas, where responsibilities included leading a Department of Defense project on multiphase flow and poroelasticity and developing novel techniques for reservoir optimization. Additionally, Adolfo worked as a Reservoir Engineer at PDVSA-Intevep, leading the development of an in-house reservoir simulator. Adolfo earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
