Laura Spoelstra

Laura Spoelstra is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in marketing, business development, and leadership within the healthcare and fertility sectors. Currently a member of the Marketing and Business Development Team at KAPPA Engineering, Laura has held significant roles at Samaritans since January 2017, including Regional Capacity Improvement Officer and Deputy Director for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. Previously, Laura served as General Manager at Arford Henderson Law Solicitors and as Chief Executive at both the National Sperm Bank and National Gamete Donation Trust, where Laura played a crucial role in increasing donor numbers in England. In addition to numerous advisory positions, Laura has contributed to ethical discussions on donor conception with the Nuffield Council on Bioethics and has provided training in communication and sales skills across various organizations.
