Ayan Ahmad

Ayan Ahmad has a range of work experience in various roles and organizations. They co-founded and served as the CEO of Kapstone from December 2022. Prior to that, from June 2021 to December 2022, they were the founder of the company. In 2021, Ayan worked as a research intern at Delhi Technological University (formerly DCE) from January to August. In 2020, they held the position of astrophysics research fellow at Tod'Adérs for a month in December and worked as an astrophysics research intern at the Society for Space Education Research and Development (SSERD) from September to October.

Ayan Ahmad began their education at Delhi Private School, Sharjah, where they obtained their High School Diploma from 2015 to 2019. They then attended Delhi Technological University (formerly DCE) from 2019 to 2023, earning a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Engineering Physics with minors in Mathematics and Computing.

During their time at Delhi Technological University, they also participated in various summer and winter schools to further their knowledge in specific areas. In 2021, Ayan attended the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar for a Summer School in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics. They also attended the Indian Institute of Science Education & Research (IISER), Kolkata for a Summer School in Quantum Information and Quantum Technology. Furthermore, they attended the BMUCO Winter School in 2021 to study Quantum Field Theory and the South African Radio Astronomy Observatory Winter School to learn about Radio Interferometry.

In 2022, Ayan attended Y Combinator's Startup School program. They also obtained several certifications in various subjects, such as HTML and CSS in depth, React Basics, Foundations of Raising Capital, Introduction to Databases for Back-End Development, Introduction to Front-End Development, Jeff Weiner on Leading like a CEO, Pitching to Investors, Principles of UX/UI Design, Programming in Python, Programming with JavaScript, Shane Snow on Storytelling, and Version Control. They obtained these certifications from institutions such as Coursera and LinkedIn.

Additionally, Ayan also obtained certifications in specialized topics, including Particle Physics: an Introduction from Coursera, Quantum Optics 1: Single Photons from Coursera, and Financial Markets (with Honors) from Coursera, obtained in 2022. In 2023, Ayan obtained certifications in Entrepreneurship 1: Developing the Opportunity, Entrepreneurship 2: Launching your Start-Up, and Entrepreneurship 3: Growth Strategies, all obtained from Coursera. They also obtained a certification in Dan Ariely on Making Decisions from LinkedIn.
