Rachel Ryan

Rachel Ryan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Rachel currently holds a position as a Board Member at New Revolution Media since December 2021.

Prior to that, Rachel worked at KAR Global, where they held various roles such as Director of Finance and Compliance - Digital Marketplaces, Controller of Digital Services Group, Senior Manager of Accounting, and Compliance Manager from 2017 to 2021.

Rachel also worked at Ditech Financial LLC as part of an internal audit and compliance project in 2016, where they played a key role in conducting audits and assessing compliance with regulations and industry benchmarks.

Before that, Rachel served as a SOX Subject Matter Expert at Workiva from 2015 to 2016, providing in-depth knowledge of accounting and SOX reporting to customers.

Rachel's work experience also includes managerial roles at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. from 2011 to 2015, where they were responsible for corporate assurance and the corporate SOX PMO.

Rachel started their career as a Staff Accountant at Global Water Management LLC in 2010 and Pyramid Hospitality in 2009.

Rachel also gained auditing experience as an Audit Associate at KPMG Audit in 2008 and worked as an Accounts Payable professional at Hyatt Hotels from 2008 to 2009.

Their earliest work experience was as a Student Instructor at Northern Arizona University from 2006 to 2007.

Rachel Ryan graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2007 with a degree in Accounting. Rachel studied accounting and finance at the W. A. Franke College of Business. In 2013, they obtained a Certification in Control Self-Assessment (CCSA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. Rachel is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certified by the Arizona State Board of Accountancy.
