John O’Farrell

John O’Farrell is a partner at Andreessen Horowitz, a leading Silicon Valley venture capital firm. His investments include public companies Slack (NYSE:WORK), where he serves as lead board director, and PagerDuty (NYSE:PD). John also serves on the boards of a number of private companies, as well as the national board of UNICEF USA. John has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering from University College Dublin. Born in Ireland and married to a Brazilian, John speaks English, German, French and Portuguese. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.

John and his wife Gloria are active supporters of a number of humanitarian organizations, both locally and internationally, including those that seek to aid the world’s millions of refugees. They have supported Karam for a number of years, and visited Karam House Istanbul in 2019.
