Karasu Consulting LLC is based in Chicago, Illinois and led by Sebnem Karasu, a global food industry expert with over 25 years of experience and multiple international entrepreneur awards. Sebnem is a leader in the area of sterilization systems and built the first independent toll steam sterilization facility in Turkey along her other ventures. She has taken various roles as global sales and business development director in organic and conventional spice companies. She has a degree in Food Engineering and MSc in Biotechnology. Current professional memberships include ASTA (American Spice Trade Association), IFT, Chicagoland Food and Beverage Network, and International Society of Female Professionals. She is a native speaker of Turkish, fluent in English and a conversational speaker of German.

She is working with a team of experienced sales and industry professionals under Karasu Consulting and offering a wide range of products and services to the food industry.
