With its exceptional view over the Kairouan side of the medina, the small boutique hotel in the medina of Fez, Karawan Riad, is a new complete experience of the Moroccan lifestyle in a riad of the old historical city.

The unique design and concept of this ancient palace reflect a sumptuous lifestyle re-imagined for the 21st century: a revamped caravanserai. Instead of merchants in negotiating or resting, this riad would be a center for cultured visitors and luxury lovers. Objects and furniture found all over the world combine with Moroccan crafts and give an amazing result that stands out from the traditional stay in a riad.

For decoration, Stéphanie Lanskin and Valérie Mayorov mixed local materials such as Taza stone, cedar wood, wrought iron, tadlakt and zellige, working them until they became one harmonious and sober, luxurious and discreet body.

 The riad offers:
 - 9 suites with a unique mix of modern and traditional Moroccan design;
 - The Karawan Restaurant, a bistro lunch and gourmet dinner table with several dining rooms, its confortable patio and its terrace with a magnificent view over the medina;
 - Leelah Traditional Spa & Hammam and expertly mixed natural products;
 - The Ispahan Tea Room for lazy afternoons around a teacup and homemade pastries with travel flavors.

Karawan Riad is the perfect place for travellers who are looking for a new destination, a different way of travelling and understanding this imperial and spiritual city in which they have landed.
