Rafer Benson is an experienced manufacturing leader with a robust background in plant management and production operations across several notable companies. Currently serving as Senior Director of Production at Kardex, Rafer previously held the position of Plant Manager at Charter Next Generation, overseeing comprehensive plant activities with full P&L budget responsibility. Experience includes managing a PET recycling facility at CarbonLITE and leading production operations at Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages, Husqvarna Outdoor Products, and Shaw Industries. Rafer's expertise extends to lean management and process improvement from roles at Honeywell and AlliedSignal, complemented by a strong educational foundation with an MBA from the University of South Carolina and dual bachelor's degrees in Textile and Polymer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and Chemistry from Albany State University.
