Michael Bachner

Michael Bachner is an experienced communications professional with a robust background in corporate communications and media relations. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Corporate Communications at Kardigan since August 2025, Michael previously held the role of Senior Director of Corporate Communications at Prothena Corporation plc from April 2022 to August 2025. Michael's earlier experience includes positions at Novo Nordisk Inc, where responsibilities encompassed Director of Media Relations & Issues Management and Director of Diabetes Business Unit Communications from February 2013 to May 2022. Additionally, Michael spent seven years at Merck & Co., Inc. as Manager of Global Product Communications for Merck Vaccines. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Penn State University, obtained in January 2004.
