Daniel Ebneter

Daniel Ebneter has a wealth of work experience spanning various industries. Daniel is currently the CEO of Karger Publishers since July 2017. Prior to that, they served as a Member of the Group Executive Board and Chief Digital Officer at Hogrefe from January 2013 to March 2017. Before that, they worked at Carpathia Consulting GmbH as a Senior Consultant / Partner from October 2010 to December 2012. Daniel also has experience in academia, having served as a Lecturer in Electronic Business at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland from October 2007 to August 2010. Additionally, they have a successful entrepreneurial background, having founded and served as the CEO of metal4you AG from January 2002 to September 2007. Daniel began their career at Hans Huber AG (now Hogrefe AG) as the Manager of Electronic Business from November 1996 to December 2001.

- 2021: Daniel acquired the LRC & UBI Radiocommunication Licenses through the Swiss Federal Office of Communication OFCOM.

- 2022: Daniel received the Swiss Certificate of Competence for Ocean Yachting (Motor) from the Swiss Yachting Association.

- Currently, Daniel is pursuing the ICC Inland Waters (Sail) qualification at Deutscher Segler-Verband, with an expected completion year of 2023.
