Simon Critchley is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Kargo since November 2023, Simon is also the Founder of Decentralised Advertising, established in January 2019. Prior roles include Senior Software Architect at Nx, Chief Technology Officer at Lumen Research Ltd, and Chief Technology Officer at Avocet, where a modern demand-side platform was developed. Earlier in Simon's career, leadership positions included roles at OnScroll and AppNexus, along with managerial responsibilities at Net Communities and Haymarket Publishing. Simon holds a 1st Class BSc (Hons) in Music Technology from the University of Hertfordshire, completed in 2007.
