Ashmit Bhattacharya

Ashmit Bhattacharya has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ashmit started their career in 2000 as a Lead Data Architect at eBenefits, where they remained until 2002. From 2002 to 2005, they worked at Safeway.com as the Director of Technical Architecture and Software Development. In 2005, they joined Blackhawk Network as the Vice President of Engineering, a position they held until 2008. In the same year, they founded Radical Payment Solutions, a company focused on building stored value payment solutions and distribution networks in emerging markets. Alongside their role at Radical Payment Solutions, they also provided consulting services for Prepaid Program Managers, Banks, and Distribution Providers globally. In 2009, Bhattacharya became an Advisor to the CEO at Plastic Jungle, where they later took on the role of CTO, staying with the company until 2013. Finally, in 2018, they co-founded KargoCard and served as the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer before transitioning to the role of Chief Executive Officer.
